Privacy Policy

Drawbly is an iPad app that teaches you to draw cute things one step at a time. This policy explains what the app does with information, in plain words.

What Drawbly collects

Drawbly does not have accounts, does not ask for your name or email, and does not run analytics or advertising trackers.

When you ask for a drawing lesson, the subject you picked or typed (for example "a pug in a teacup") is sent to the Drawbly server, which asks an AI model to write the step-by-step lesson. That text is the only information that leaves your iPad. It is not linked to you or to your device.

Finished lessons are kept on the Drawbly server so that the next person who asks for the same subject gets an answer straight away instead of waiting. A stored lesson holds the subject and the drawing steps, and nothing about who asked for it.

Drawbly uses Anthropic's Claude API to write lessons. The subject text is sent to Anthropic under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not allow it to be used to train their models.

What stays on your iPad

Your saved lessons, anything you draw in Draw here mode, and your settings are stored only on your iPad. Deleting the app deletes them. Drawbly never uploads your drawings.

Purchases

Paid features are sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles the payment; Drawbly never sees your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.

To know whether your iPad has Drawbly Plus, the app uses RevenueCat, which records what was purchased and when against a random id generated on your device. That id is not your name, your email or your Apple ID, and it is not linked to anything else about you.

Children

Drawbly is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
